Venice as a museum
Florence has so many frescoes sculptures etc
An incredible sculpture. It's a shame we rushed the rest of the museum but atleast we got to see the anazing view from the Belvedere of the Duomo. I discovered later that Sam's way of doing museums: picture with most famous thing for Instagram and straight out.
Michelangelo got his inspiration from going down the mines to find tin miners with sculpted bodies. So many naked men. He certainly had a love for the male form.
The famous bridge in Florence, the nazis blew up all the others but left this one
Rome metro was a bit shitty but also had a cool under developed vibe with Graffiti and a little dark and uncomfortable. Sam's expression says it all.
The train to get us one stop to next station was late too by 15 mins. U get a feeling things don't work quite so well there. Not sure why. Who's fault is it?
See so much absolute homelessness people in tents, cardboard boxes. Must be many African migrants coming there. Tourism seems their main thing. There must also be a business Centre too no? The area we stayed was cool I thought. I loved the old apartment the ceiling on the roof of rooms all stones red brick. Tiled stone floors. Many cafes and restaurants close to station. We walked far through Rome everyday to colloseum, Vatican, forum, pantheon.
